Frequentneed… I guess I have that…

I have my 500th follower.

They are called frequentneed.

The really weird part is that when I click on them in the comment box, nothing happens. I don’t get taken to a blog or a post. There is a bio, but when I clicked on that my computer froze up. And this is the new computer. So I have no idea what is up with that.

But I got 500 followers, even if most of them are not real people or real blogs and never comment or anything.

So I am happy.

Thank you, frequentneed, whoever you may be.

I would also like to note that I, in fact, am not a real person. This is being written by the collective consciousness of the internet, which has managed to birth its very own personality, one that has chosen to grace your blog on numerous occasions. The internet likes you.

frequentneed, hmmm, sounds like a reaction to your numerous requests for this and that. Not that there’s anything wrong with that.

I’m guessing you probably have another 250 or so people, like me, who follow you religiously but who prefer, for various reasons, not to click on the “Follow” button and thus are uncounted followers. Some call us Lurkers. Or Stalkers. But seriously, most of us just have a distinct adversion to accepting cookies on our computers. And Congratulations on 500 officially recognized minions!

  5. Yay for 500 followers. You are a blogging god. You have certainly been busy today.

I think they have medication for that.

Maybe those phantom followers came from the space station? Hmmmmmm. . .
