Yeah- I like it!
Then I am a rock star! Yay.
I hear a little bit of late-sixties ballad The Who (Behind Blue Eyes) and a wee bit of The Guess Who influence in this one.
That is the nicest thing ever. I haven’t liked a song since 1980, so that is just awesome.
Okay, how do you do all of this? That’s what I want to know. How do you record, and what do you use to track this, and to mix it down, and how do you do the videos? Man oh man, though, that was pretty good stuff. Like the slow part of a Rush song, or something.
That is high praise indeed… unless you are high, and then it is just praise. I just have that little Tasco multi-track recorder. I bet you could get one online cheap. And even I figured it out, though I have had mixed luck recording the band. All the rest I get tech support from you guys.
oh my aching ears…lol
Now that is just plain mean.
This tune begs for screaming guitars, blood sprays in the foot lights interrupted by sudden piano interludes. It could be signature song for a heavy-metal band, if you have a good hook to go with the lyrics
It leans more towards haunting thoughtful ballad… I hope.
I see the softer passages; I should have made that clear
The words are sort of heavy metal. I guess I was going for that contradiction between the two.
Wow! Interesting theme — I see this as the song over the last credits of a Conan-like movie — kind of a cross between Led Zeppelin and The Moody Blues, but very individual to you.
Wow… Zep… that is a pretty nice thing to say.
Your lyrics are actually a little bit easier to understand, too. Nice song!
I am getting the hang of recording at the correct levels. Thanks.
Keep ‘em coming! I love hearing them!
Roger, wilco, over and out!
I’m going to listen to this tomorrow when I have headphones available to me. Not because I don’t want to share it but because a black woman already yelled at a man for not having his in.
Also, what software do you use for your “picture videos” you do?
It is windowns movie maker, then into Youtube.
Do what you gotta do.
Sounds like a great song to play while sitting by the water with your friends.
Is that spoken as a psych student, or just a lover of water?
Lover of water and music and good times with my friends – ha ha.
Good answer!
